Square wave ring modulation

XOR logic will combine two square waves in a way that emphasizes their differences

If you feed the square waves from two oscillators through a binary XOR logic cicuit, you receive a “CMOS-style ring modulated” pulse wave at the output.

Example:

• patch two square waves to the inputs on an XOR logic circuit
• patch the output into a low pass gate or filter/VCA combo
